Our dive center on Guraidhoo is located directly on the harbor with short distances to the daily boat trips. Our base, equipped with the latest equipment from MARES, and over an area of 180 square meters is enough space to sit down comfortably before and after the dives have a coffee or tea together.
Our dive guides Maish and Hameed run the diver center on Guraidhoo with great dedication and know the dive sites around Guraidhoo inside out.
At South Male Atoll we have the big advantage to have a lot of highlighted dive spots close to our center. To all diving spots we drive not longer than approx. 45 min. For beginners as well as for the “very experienced once” – we have the possibility to dive at Thilas, or Giris where we are able to do quite comfortably dives up to a max depth of 18-m and explore fields of anemones, as far as the eye reaches.
Or to dive as well to the most spectacular places of the atoll like Guraidhoo Corner, Cocoa Corner and Kandooma Thila. Here you find a cleaning station for sharks, eagle rays, Napoleons and huge turtles on the reef top too. At the West outside reefs you are accompanied by a big school of bat fishes during the whole dive. Directly in front of the island Guraidhoo is the Emmadi Giri, also called Manta Point. Manta rays can be seen there from May to October.
Our team consists of local dive guides who live and dive by our slogan “Dive with Friends”. Here you can expect a relaxed and familiar atmosphere with top service as well as relaxing dives, guided by our motivated and competent team. Our dive staff are 100% passionate about diving!
On the local island of Guraidhoo, the Maldives show a different side. You live with the locals on the island and get to know their culture and customs. On Guraidhoo there are now the most diverse categories of accommodation. From the very budget-friendly rented room to the normal hotel room, everything is possible.

Batfish don’t do the typical graceful swimming you might expect. They prefer to take it slow, often moving with a “stroll” rather than a swim.
It’s like if you saw a fish taking a leisurely walk through a park, casually avoiding predators with no rush at all.
They may not be the fastest, but batfish definitely win in the “coolest, most unusual fish” category—hands down!
In this beautiful picture taken from @macro_mikatigny you can admire the juvenile batfish , aren’t they super cute ? 🥰
Don’t miss our January newsletter , we will talk about Batfish, all the offers of the Boot Düsseldorf & introducing our new marine biologist Jenny💙
